Job Description

The PR & Communications Intern assists in administering and executing omni-channel communications programs, including writing content for Company employees, residents, and families. In addition, this individual plays an important role in helping to ensure communication, and PR plans are successfully executed and impactful.

- Assist in online review management, including drafting and posting responses.
- Assist in monitoring social media engagement and comments.
- Assist in storytelling functions, including interviews of subjects, collecting visual assets like photographs, and even drafting stories and content for the Company Careers blog and social media channels.
- Assist in managing employee content on internal digital platforms, including the internal Company website platform, Sharepoint sites, and digital signage.
- Write communications for residents and families on behalf of community leadership, including for personnel changes, community announcements, and infection-related communications.
- Assist Communications Designer in updating employee materials if proficient in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist PR & Communications Specialists in managing workflow for creative jobs, including the Company brand management software, to ensure all production steps are managed in an organized, timely fashion.
- Assist Communications Designer in updating employee materials.
- Assist in managing and executing regular Support Center-focused communications platforms and events.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a four-year university or college preferred. Preferably in a degree program such as Advertising, Design, Marketing, PR, or Communications.
- If currently enrolled in school, must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale).
- Ability to deliver clear, compelling communications work with the potential for rapid growth.
- Collaborative and conceptual skills.
- Digital experience is a plus, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Must have or be willing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, subject to legal requirements.
